Individual counselling Our team of counsellors use the following counselling styles to help promote your mental health and wellbeing:
REBT/CBT This approach helps you identify and change irrational beliefs that lead to emotional distress. By addressing these beliefs, you can develop healthier emotional responses and improve your overall wellbeing.
Transactional Analysis (TA) : This method explores your interactions and communication patterns to improve your relationships and emotional wellbeing. Understanding these patterns can lead to more fulfilling relationships and a greater sense of personal satisfaction.
Psychodynamic Counselling offers a gentle and supportive space to explore how your past experiences—especially your early relationships—may be influencing your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Through a trusting relationship with your counsellor, you can begin to understand deep-rooted patterns, gain new insights, and find more fulfilling ways of relating to yourself and others.
Person Centered Counselling offers a supportive, non-judgemental approach that helps you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. With empathy and acceptance, it encourages personal growth and self-trust.
EMDR Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR is internationally recognised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, the World Health Organisation, The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, the NHS (UK) and many other bodies.EMDR is a standardised treatment approach which helps to accelerate the brain’s capacity for healing from a traumatic memory or a distressing life event by using bilateral stimulations. BLS can be in the form of eye movements, sounds or tapping which help to generate the brain’s Adaptive Information Processing system.
