Before our first meeting we like to talk to you on the phone where we can arrange an initial appointment. The initial appointment is usually shorter than a counselling session lasting 30-40 minutes and it allows us to meet one another and discuss what it might be like to work together. It is helpful for us to ask you some questions about why you feel you are looking for counselling and this allows us to decide if we might have the right service to work with you. After that meeting should we both decide to go ahead with therapy, sessions are typically for an hour on a weekly basis in a private room provided by the counsellor. The duration of therapy depends on the issues and needs of each individual and the continuation of therapy is reviewed periodically.
We are happy to answer any queries by email or by phone. If using the phone you may come through to our voicemail. We will respond to your message as soon as possible. Neither the phone nor email are suitable for emergency contact.
Our counselling fees are as follows:
We operate a Bursary Fund for those people for whom this would be too much. Please contact us if you need further information.
