Dip. Christian Counselling, ACC (Accred.), Couple and Family Counselling Skills (IoC)
Following service in pastoral care in a community church, I chose to develop an interest in counselling. I qualified through CWR Waverley in 2010 and began practice in general counselling, covering a wide range of personal difficulties and circumstances. With further training, I am also developing a specialism in relationship issues and help for couples.
I believe our families and experiences in the past, influence how we think, feel and act in the present. Exploring our inner self and personal resources can help in facing and resolving difficulties. Dealing with troubling feelings, thoughts and behaviour can help individuals and families to make choices that enhance well-being and improve relationships. I aim to support, facilitate and encourage clients in building confidence and hope as they search for resolution of issues and strength for life's challenges.
